Don't Look Back, It's Alright

I'm confident I wasn't the only person whose soul was a little crushed after seeing this video during the Superbowl. Keep in mind, this is the guy who sang (in one of his more accomplished ditties):

Disillusioned words like bullets bark
As human gods aim for their mark
Made everything from toy guns that spark
To flesh-colored Christs that glow in the dark
It's easy to see without looking too far
That not much
Is really sacred.

I suppose this isn't the first time Dylan joined the flesh-colored-Christs market. All I know is that after twenty years of schooling, they got me on the day + night shift.

  1. I think it's "ditties" (unless you're shouting out Diddy, of which I completely approve).

More than I hate seeing Bob Dylan in a commercial I hate seeing Will.i.am. anywhere. The Black Eyed Peas are nonmusic.

  2. I suppose there's a rather toolish memory device for remembering the spelling on that one...

For awhile I really disliked Will.i.am. Then I saw him on Bill Marr's show where he was so inarticulate, I began to suspect he was illiterate or possibly mentally impaired. Now I have nothing but sympathy.
